Directions to Merck Forest & Farmland Center

From Boston/CT/RI:
Take Interstate 91 North to Vermont. Take Exit 2 in Brattleboro, VT and follow signs for VT Route 30 North. Follow Route 30 North through Manchester Center (approx. 40 miles). From Manchester continue to follow Route 30 North for 8.2 miles to Route 315. Turn left onto Route 315. Follow Route 315 approx. 2.6 miles to top of hill. Driveway to Merck Forest & Farmland Center is on the left. Proceed ½ mile up driveway to parking area and Visitor Center.

From NY/NJ and points south:
Follow Interstate 87 North to Albany, NY. In Albany, take Exit 7 for NY Route 7 to Bennington, VT. At the NY/VT border (26 miles), NY Route 7 changes to VT Route 9. Continue to Bennington, VT (3.5 miles). In Bennington, turn left onto VT Route 7 North to Manchester Center, VT. Follow Route 7 North (21 miles) to Exit 4 for Routes 11 and 30. Follow Route 30 into Manchester to the flashing light. Follow signs for Route 30 North and continue to follow Route 30 North for 8.2 miles to Route 315. Turn left on Route 315 and go approx. 2.6 miles to the top of the hill. The driveway to Merck Forest & Farmland Center is on the left. Proceed ½ mile up driveway to the parking area and Visitor Center.

From Salem, NY:
Take Route 153 from Salem to Rupert, VT to Route 315 East. Go 3.1 miles (from intersection with Route 153 in Rupert) to main entrance on right at the top of the hill. Proceed ½ mile up the driveway to parking area and Visitor Center.
